Pic signs multi-year Caterham deal
Charles Pic will move from Marussia to Caterham in 2013, with recent F1 debutant Max Chilton expected to take his place at Marussia alongside Timo Glock. There is no news on the second Caterham driver yet, although Heikki Kovalainen has said that his chances of remaining in F1 now seem slim.

Lotus lands Coca-Cola backing
Lotus F1 is to be backed by Coca-Cola's 'burn' energy brand in a multi-year deal that will start at the beginning of next year. Coca-Cola is the world's largest beverage company with over 500 sparkling and still brands.

Weather to play hand in title decider?
While Ferrari stopped short of admitting that they may need a little divine intervention if Fernando Alonso is to stop Sebastian Vettel achieving a hat-trick of world titles on Sunday, it looks as if unsettled whether could well be a factor in the Brazilian GP.

Newey: constructors' hat-trick so satisfying
Red Bull Racing's chief technical officer Adrian Newey has now achieved a hat-trick of constructors' championship succeses with both Williams and Red Bull Racing. He admitted, however, that Red Bull's win this season has perhaps been the most satisfying of all.

Massa gearbox issue puts Alonso on clean side of grid
With just under two hours to go before the start of the US Grand Prix in Austin, Ferrari is believed to have broken the gearbox seal on Felipe Massa's car, which will mean a five place grid penalty that, crucially, will promote team mate Fernando Alonso one place onto the clean side of the grid.
