Newspapers in Britain are reporting that an agent of MI5, Britain's secret Security Service, has resigned after it emerged that his wife organised the News of the World photographs and video of FIA President Max Mosley's sexual adventures.

Force India test and reserve driver Vitantonio Liuzzi is going racing this weekend at the Most circuit in the Czech Republic. The Italian will take part in the Czech International Touring Car Championship event with a Charouz Racing System Mercedes-Benz DTM car, which he will share with former F1 man Tomas Enge, who raced for Prost Grand Prix back in 2001.

Kyle Busch, the 23-year-old rising star of NASCAR, says that he will be testing a Formula 1 car later this year in Japan. Busch drives an M&M-sponsored Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing and it is anticipated that the test would be at the wheel of a Toyota Formula 1 car.

FIA President Max Mosley has sent a letter to the FIA club presidents around the world, going into details about why he has not resigned and why he must be allowed to stay on until the end of his mandate in October 2009. We have acquired a copy of this letter. It makes explosive reading.

Force India's chief executive Colin Kolles has been spotted in Salzburg, meeting with representatives of Red Bull to find a settlement over the question of the arbitration between the Silverstone team and the Austrian drinks company.

The word from Italy is that the Fiat-owned Lancia brand is considering buying into Scuderia Toro Rosso, as part of its plan to revive the marque by expanding sales of Lancia models in Europe and beyond.

In recent weeks there have been some interesting stories emerging about ways in which Formula 1 technologies and ideas are now being used for ideas outside the motorsport environment. One of the most dramatic ideas is the Caparo T1, a car that has just been given UK road-going status.

Two weeks ago, in a radio programme in Prague, in the Czech Republic, the FIA's Radovan Novak has suggested to Radio Impuls's interviewer Vaclav Moravec that McLaren might be responsible for the sex scandal that has thrown the FIA into turmoil in the last few weeks. McLaren has now revealed that it has received an apology from Novak.

There seems to be plenty of action going on in FIA circles at the moment, as the members clubs try to work out what to do about the Mosley Scandal. With the meeting of the FIA General Assembly still three weeks away, there has been a lot of quiet politicking going on.

During the GP2 race in Turkey on Sunday morning there was a worrying moment when two dogs appeared on the race track. Unfortunately, Bruno Senna was unable to avoid one of them, killing the poor animal and breaking the front suspension of his car.

Felipe Massa won his third consecutive Turkish Grand Prix in Istanbul on Sunday, but it was not an easy victory for the charismatic little Brazilian, who was made to fight all the way by McLaren's Lewis Hamilton.

A1GP has revealed the first image of its brand new 'Powered by Ferrari' car for use in the 2008-2009 seasons. The car will begin testing shortly with TV commentator John Watson doing the driving. The car will be powered by a V8 Ferrari engine producing around 600bhp.

The French Grand Prix will be held at Magny-Cours for the last time this year, according to Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone, but he hopes that there could be a race on a new circuit in or near Paris in 2010.

Felipe Massa has won the last two Turkish Grands Prix for Ferrari, and he has won them both at a canter. The circuit is one that the Brazilian loves and with his third consecutive pole position he seems well-placed to win again.
