The FIA has today claimed that the new 1.6-litre V6 turbo engines to be introduced to GP racing in 2014, and which will rev to 15000rpm instead of the originally projected 12000rpm, will be "representative of F1."

Toro Rosso reserve driver Daniel Ricciardo, a member of the Red Bull driver programme, is expected to replace Narain Karthikeyan at HRT for the British Grand Prix.
