Monaco has agreed a new 10-year deal with Formula 1 commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone after a meeting in London today. Ecclestone recently said that Formula 1 could do without Monaco, which is regarded by many drivers, teams and sponsors as Grand Prix racing's blue riband event.

Ferrari's actions in the German Grand Prix have caused an outcry from F1 fans who feel cheated. However, whether or not the World Motor Sport Council takes further action, it will do precious little to stamp out team orders. All it will mean is that teams will apply them with a far greater degree of subtlety.

Following the German Grand Prix, Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali spoke with the press.

German GP - Race Report

Ferrari has been fined $100,000 for being in breach of the FIA international sporting code with regard to team orders during their 1-2 finish in the German Grand Prix. The matter will also be referred to the FIA World Motor Sports Council for further consideration.

Following the controversial finish of the German Grand Prix, Ferrari's team bosses have been summoned to see the race stewards.
