Alonso confirmed by Ferrari

Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro has announced that it has reached an agreement with the driver Fernando Alonso. The agreement covers three racing seasons, starting in 2010.

The end of KERS for now

The Formula 1 teams met on Sunday in Singapore and it seems that they have finally agreed that they will not be using KERS in 2010, although they want to leave open the possibility that there will be energy-recovery systems in F1 in the future.

Lotus F1 and Petronas

Before BMW took the decision to quit F1 a new sponsorship deal was agreed to with Petronas, but no contracts were signed and although the Malaysian oil company wants to continue in F1, the Malaysian government is keen to roll the sponsorship into its Team Lotus operation.

Practice 2 Report - Vettel on top

Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time of the second practice session in Singapore, three-tenths faster than Fernando Alonso's Renault. Heikki Kovalainen was third fastest in his McLaren ahead of Nick Heidfeld and Jenson Button.
