The FIA has now confirmed the leak of yesterday which suggested that McLaren and Toyota would not get representation on the new Formula 1 Commission in 2008.

Media reaction to Michael Schumacher has been almost universal with all the major newspapers giving the Ferrari ace a bad time.

Ferrari has reacted as one would expect to the decision of the FIA Steward at Monaco. The reaction underlines the odd belief that seems to exist that Ferrari is somehow above the law in F1.

It took seven and a half hours but finally the FIA stewards did the right thing. Michael Schumacher has been dumped to the back of the grid after the incident at the end of qualifying at Monte Carlo. For many in F1 this is a landmark decision.
