Later this morning the Formula 1 teams will announce that they have completed their rules proposals for 2008 and beyond and are now sending these on to the FIA to give the federation the chance to analyse them, without the process being done in the public arena.

The FIA World Motor Sport Council has voted to accept the recommendation of the FIA Senate to drop the guilty verdicts which they made on June 29 against seven teams which pulled into the pitlane and did not take part in the United States Grand Prix.
