Nicolas Todt's ART team in GP2 has been super-competitive in recent weeks but in Hungary the team ran into trouble after the FIA Technical Delegate spotted an irregularity with the suspension set-up on the cars of Nico Rosberg and Alexandre Premat.

Toyota has confirmed that it will be supplying engines to the Midland F1 team (nee Jordan) in 2006. The news has been expected for several days and brings to an end any hope that Williams may have had of using the Japanese engines next year.

We hear from Brazil that some of the biggest names in the sport are fighting over who will be Brazil's driver in the new A1 Grand Prix series. The word is that Champ Car driver Cristiano da Matta is one of those involved, along with Indy Racing League champion Tony Kanaan and F1 test driver Antonio Pizzonia.

Toyota gave everyone a surprise in the second practice session for the Hungarian Grand Prix with test driver Ricardo Zonta a tenth of a second faster than McLaren's Alexander Wurz.
